On Saturday, Ava and Jessica met up at Bishop's Pumpkin Farm with a couple of Jess's former coworkers, Rae and Lisa, and Lisa's little guy, Evan.

SNAGGLETOOTH

FIRST OF FIRST

Today was day one of grade one for
Miss King.
She didn't want her picture taken, but
she reluctantly complied a few times.

Her teacher's name is Mrs. Grever.

Ava has an assigned seat and shares a
table with two kids that were also in Mrs.
Kelly's kindergarten class, Abby and
Tristan, along with a new friend named
Nathan.

Mrs. Grever has the same poetry books by
Shel Silverstein on her bookshelf that we
read over the summer at bedtime. That
seemed to score some points with Ava.
At the end of the day, Ava gave Mrs. Grever
and her first day in first grade two thumbs up!
