A Little Ham...A Little Cheese...

Miss King has been out of school for President's Week for the past five days. Today we went here and there and kept each other company.
She is a lot of fun...She rode bucks and bugs...
Giggled...
Glanced...
Gobbled...
And glammed it up...
She wasn't sure where to apply
her new lux lilac eyeshadow.
"Under the fuzzy part?"
Translation: Under my eyebrows?
I warned her the makeup would
be taken away if she was naughty.
She promised to be good for the rest of her life...

My Funny Valentine

Last week at my "center" Ava's class decorated Valentine's Day bags to collect their Valentine goodies in today.
Today at my "center" they frosted, decorated AND ATE heart shaped cookies.
The girlies in the Blue Group (The boys already scarfed their cookies and moved on to the next activity.)
Ava is peeking through a drawing of an ice cream cone. She has to guess what the picture on the board is by the clues her classmates give her about the picture.

KindergARTen

Ava and her classmates had to draw their favorite character from a story they recently read and write what they liked about the character. These bulletin boards are so cute they almost bring me to tears (I know...totally mom-like.)

Translation: I like the fox. He has a pretty tail.
(Is that a pickle with legs, a tail and a dorsal fin???)

Our little artist in action.

WWPetaD?

So, I was thinking this morning that we should do something fun today and take some pictures to post since we haven't done much lately that is picture worthy. I swear I had barely completed the thought when I opened the bathroom door to see Miss Kati kind of waddling up the hallway toward me wearing a doll dress and a braclet around her little face as a tiara. Ava was BEAMING at her creation!
I can't imagine anyone loving a kitten more than Miss Ava loves her Kati kitty. I'm just not so sure the way she loves her would be considered ethical treatment. Miss Kati seems a bit...disgruntled?

Low Self-Esteem? Never Heard Of Such A Thing...

This morning Miss King was complaining to her dad that her nose would not stop running. He suggested that she go blow it, to which she replied that she would not want to get snot on her beautiful face!
