Our family Christmas present was tickets to see STOMP at the Sacramento Community Center Theater on January 30th. It was so much fun! It is hard to imagine another show knocking that one out of my All-Time Favorite Performance spot.
I don't have any pictures to post though.

I am excited for a new begining. I intend to take a different approach to this resolution business in '09...My official resolution cliche for 2009:

~ SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE ~

I will reach my fitness/nutritional/financial/organizational/marital/parental goals by taking 52 weeks of baby steps in 2009. I should be able to accomplish at least (6x52=) 312 things if I pick one task a week in each area for 52 weeks, right?
Let the games begin!

Whirlwind Holiday

Though the three Kings didn't exactally have a traditional holiday season in 2008 (such is life for a public safety family) Ava declared it "the best Christmas EVER!"
We went to the Delap house for the King Family gathering on the 22nd. On the 23rd we went to the Lopez house for the Beile Family gathering. Jessica and Troy both worked on Christmas Eve, so Ava spent the night with Nonnie & Papa Thom and she got to go on a tour of Christmas lights in a limosine!
Then FINALLY Santa brought presents for Ava at Nonnie's and at home...
