We walked in the nearly freezing drizzle for a
while before heading to Mountain Mikes in Grass
Valley for dinner.

Ava's Debut Performance: the Winter Program at Foskett Ranch Elementary

All four kindergarten classes performed
"Angel Band" and "Mitten Song" together.
Which one is Ava?
Find the left corner of the white screen above the children...
Under that corner there is a boy wearing a Santa hat...
To the left of that boy is Miss King wearing her pink/brown hat...
Isn't she adorable???

Mom & Dad went backstage to congratulate Ava
on her first spectacular public appearance.
She was upset that she had to go back to class
instead of going home with them.

Santa's Little Helper

Miss King insisted on trimming the tree
unassisted again this year.
While Ava was busy with the ornaments,
dad took an after dinner nap and mom hung
twinkling snowflakes in the front windows.




Sleepyheads...

Candy...Candy Canes...Syrup!

Ava helped mom make
silver dollar pancakes
for dinner the other night.
Then she poured the syrup
when nobody was looking...PANCAKE SOUP!
